November 3, 2020: Be Brave

Sometimes We Need a Reminder

Sometimes it helps to have a little reminder to be brave. There are times in life where everything may seem like too much, but it is important to persevere. Be brave. Live life and face challenges. Things can be hard; they can be really really tough to live through each day. Each day that you make it through shows how brave you can be to live life, even if it is only one day at a time.

I’ve needed a reminder to be brave at times, especially lately. So much has been going on; so much that is beyond what I could have ever dreamed of experiencing. It’s hard, but reminding myself to be brave keeps me going, even if it is just day by day, or even hour by hour.

The Problem Wasn’t the Project This Time!

Yeah, it’s obvious that there is usually some kind of problem with most projects. That’s just a given thing as I continue to learn to improve my skills. This time, the project itself went smoothly. The project was so smooth in fact that the video editing for YouTube and Instagram were the quickest process ever since I started video editing. What I did realize however during the editing process is that my camera stopped filming at one point during the weeding.

This is a first for me. Editing out dead time on video as I sometimes forget to stop recording to take breaks, eat meals, etc. is typical. I have become quite accustomed to editing two to three hours of video down to one to two hours before speeding up clips. Missing footage is out of my realm of knowledge. I had two options that I could think of: continue editing and just have part of the process missing, or recut the design and record weeding it to fill in the missing part.

I went with option one this time because of two reasons. First, I’m a little bit lazy at the moment and don’t want to recut and refill the missing footage. Second, I apparently don’t have another piece of vinyl of the same color. Since it came in a multipack from TeckWrap Craft, I started with only two sheets of the color. One had already been used, so when I used the second sheet for this sign, I had none left.

Keep Going

No matter what, keep remembering to be brave. Living life is a challenge, sometimes more than other times. But be brave. You are so brave to keep going. I am proud of you for pressing on and to continue trying the best you can each day. You are enough and you are appreciated. Don’t think less of yourself; I don’t think lesser of you. I think you are a phenomenal person and am grateful for you every day.
