Here Fishy Fishy Fishy
Does anyone else think of Finding Nemo when they hear the word fishy? It always brings to mind the little girl in the braces and head gear that bangs on the glass of the fish tank.

But the design and vinyls used for this fishy towel are nothing like what is found in Finding Nemo. It gives more Rainbow Fish vibes. I have been sitting on this nebula htv for some time, only just recently coming across some inspiration for which to use it.
The question then became on what should this fishy design be placed? Since my default for htv is hand towels, another hand towel it is! I am super glad I stocked up on a ton of these little IKEA towels when I did. They’ve been discontinued for almost a year and I am heartbroken. These little towels were only $0.79 each and have a built in little loop to hang them up everywhere.
What to say…
There’s not really much I can say about this project…for once. Surprisingly I didn’t have any mishaps. I did notice when editing the video that my new mood lights (for lack of a better name for them) did reflect quite a bit onto the project. I had them set to a rainbow fading gradient, so the fish was all kinds of disco lit while working.
I am still having fantastic results with the custom cut setting I made for TeckWrap products. You can check out my quick tutorial to make your own custom cut setting HERE. The setting I use for the Cricut Maker 3 can be found HERE. For me, I prefer slow and steady to win the race versus speed. So while the cut setting does take more time, it has been MUCH more accurate at cutting through completely and cleanly.
The Finished Project
I love this rainbow/galaxy fish! The cool colors with the slight complication of the zentangle design outline make my crafting heart so happy!
