Well then…I did NOT expect this HTV to be like this. Any time I’ve used glossy holographic HTV, it has been stiff, crunchy, and easy to pick at with nails. This one WINS!!
Yet another new product from TeckWrap Craft, this one is the one I was looking forward to the most. It. 👏🏼 Delivered! 👏🏼 Prior to this product, any holographic htv I tried would look great, but be quite thick and stiff. The new PU (polyurethane) htv is soft, meets the flexibility of the fabrics, and retains that stunning holographic shine.
Heavy is the Head That Wears the Crown
Honestly, this project is little to do with the design itself and more about the material. I chose a simple to weed design from Cricut Design Space and applied it to a tea towel from IKEA. But because I am receiving more comments enjoying the weeding videos, I didn’t want to disappoint with no weeding at all. Now that I know I like this material and how to apply it properly, there will most definitely be more complex designs in the future. Going Too Far?
I recently started reviving my TikTok creator account as an added method for sharing the shorter versions of each project video (longer versions are still reserved for YouTube exclusives). At the moment, I have been able to post instantly for projects from my desktop rather than my phone, but have not yet found a way to schedule a post for future days/times. With each other social and here on the blog, posts are all scheduled to go live at 12:30pm PT for continued consistency. I’d like to continue that consistency on TikTok as well, but haven’t found a way to as of yet.
I will confuse to explore the TikTok avenue to help spread the joy of creating. If anyone is aware of a way to schedule posts for the platform, please clue me in. Apparently (according to TikTok), I’m old millennial trash that has no business being on the platform. 🤣
