Wrapping Up Soon!

Oh how I cannot wait for the end of this year! To commemorate the holiday season as well as the tremendous uptick in covid cases, I bring to you the Merry Christmas Disease snow globe. Maybe I should have done some more research before making my very first snow globe. Oh well; here it is anyways. Merry Christmas Disease!!

Please let this year end and PLEASE let next year be better…PLEASE!!!!

I Was Not Prepared…

Layering this little design was honestly a fun challenge. Unfortunately, I made the design a tad too large to fit on the ornament for which it was originally intended. Luckily I had a blank snow globe on hand, so I decided it was a good time to try making one. Hint for every crafter out there: do research before you dive in head first!

This snow globe honestly is a pretty perfect example of the year. It’s all sparkly and happy while also looking kind of gross. At the moment, I am not sure whether or not I have my ratio wrong for water to glycerin, used the wrong kind of glitter, etc. But something is certainly wrong. A significant amount of both glitters floats in clumps at the top and what does move around and eventually sink is also pretty clumpy. The glitters also still fall quicker than intended. One problem suggests that there is too much glycerin while another suggests the opposite. So I am at a loss. Until I make another attempt, does anyone have any suggestions to try?
