Springtime is Here!
I am sorry to see the cooler temps start to leave, but am happy that color is coming back! The mountain sides to the east in the Bay Area are beginning to show their bright green. Hummingbirds are draining their feeder more frequently. Flowers are blooming. It’s such a beautiful colorful time of year.
With this floral moth decal, I wanted to show simplicity but also celebrate spring. This rose gold vinyl seemed the best way to accomplish that with this design.
Cut Settings
As always, these cut settings are specific to the Cricut Maker since that is the machine which I use.
- TeckWrap Craft rose gold matte vinyl – premium vinyl setting (107 cut pressure with fine point blade) with default pressure
- Cricut removable matte black vinyl – premium vinyl setting (107 cut pressure with fine point blade) with default pressure
As mentioned in my last post, I am including a reference chart from Cricut of each cut settings and the corresponding cut pressure. I won’t promise to remember to include this in each post in the future, but I’ll do my best to remember.
HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?!
Out of all of the layering I’ve done to this point, I have NEVER lined up a project this well! I am quite ecstatic about it. I really do mean ecstatic…I’ve shown off this project to anyone and everyone who I’ve been near in the past day. I have no doubt everyone is getting tired of me repeating myself. LOL
Looks like all that layering practice is starting to pay off
Shopping on Amazon
If you haven’t noticed, the caption of the top photo is a link to Amazon. I’ve recently been granted by Amazon the ability to post stoppable photos. It’s really neat to have another view of what all is involved in each project and making it all easy to find for anyone who wants to try it themselves.
I have been able to do this since the lion project (another project of which I am fiercely proud), but am forgetting to take an encompassing product photo for this purpose. Luckily I did so for this project, as seen below. I also made sure to include the lighting and phone/camera clamp to help show what is involved for the filming process.
