Hoppy Easter Bunny Egg
Happy Easter to all who celebrate! To those who do not observe Easter, Hoppy Sunday to you! To bring some springtime/Easter cheer, I wanted to make a cute bunny themed egg. I stumbled across this bunny egg design about a month ago originally on Creative Fabrica and saved it to do closer to Easter. With so many things going on, I honestly had forgotten I saved it until I wanted to create a themed project for today. Super glad it was saved!
Cut Settings
As always, remember that the specified settings are specific to the Cricut Maker. For a reference guide to cut pressures for each Cricut setting, check out this handy chart:
- TeckWrap permanent vinyl: premium vinyl on default pressure
- TeckWrap Craft glossy shimmer vinyls: glitter iron-on vinyl on default pressure*
- TeckWrap Craft rainbow holo sparkle vinyl: holographic sparkle vinyl on default pressure
- Cricut matte black removable vinyl: premium vinyl on default pressure
* I may have to test more settings for this vinyl to fine tune the cut pressure needed. On this project and the last, I noticed that the backing paper of the adhesive vinyl was also partially cut. When this happens, it can become slightly more challenging to remove the backing paper when needed.
Night Owl Mode Activated
There are many nights over the past two months where I find myself working in the late evening/early morning hours. For example, this bunny egg project was made at about 1-2am. I am currently writing this post after video editing for four platforms at 4am. After I draft all posts for various platforms (IG, FB, TT, YT and here), it’ll probably be closer to 5-5:30ish am.
I need sleep.
Luckily, I will be more on schedule and ready to get back to ‘normalcy’ when working very soon, so hopefully I will not have to continue the super late nights to ensure I have great projects to share.
