Happy Easter to all who celebrate! To those who do not observe Easter, Hoppy Sunday to you!

I’ll be honest…I did not expect this design to be anything super spectacular. It’s a beautiful design and I knew it could be ‘jazzed up’ with some sparkly vinyls. What was not expected was how stunningly ‘rainbow-y’ and sparkly it turned out. It was a design that is beautiful and becomes even more so with each added layer.

In efforts to work more on myself, I wanted to find a project to bring a little balance. I’ve said before and will continue to say that creating art is a form of therapy for me. Creating is a chance to let the rest of the world melt away. It keeps me focused on time and its passing.

With this floral moth decal, I wanted to show simplicity but also celebrate spring. This rose gold vinyl seemed the best way to accomplish that with this design.

I know Easter is coming soon. I’ve seen countless projects on various socials from so many crafters all centered around Easter. But unless I intentionally look for it on a calendar, I couldn’t tell you at the moment when it is exactly. So why not start some projects for it now? Better to be early than too late or never!

While this avant-garde style design is easy, it’s very appealing…at least it is to me. When spotting the design on Cricut’s Design Space, it screamed to be done in holographic vinyl. This rose/eye design is intended to be a t-shirt design, but I see it more as a great creative notebook cover. I almost want to put it on a page of a junk journal.

Most of my projects are more on the complicated side: multiple layers, super shiny vinyl combinations, extreme amounts of weeding, etc. But today, I just wanted to create and keep it simple. Simple has a beautiful elegance to it.

There are times we all have where all motivation to work flies right out the window, leaving us feeling uninspired and unmotivated. I’ve been experiencing a bit of that lately, especially over the last several weeks. I keep telling myself to just create.

The project pace seems to have slowed considerably at the moment. But I couldn’t just miss St. Patrick’s Day. So I found this layered shamrock mandala in Cricut’s Design Space and ran with it.

Yeah, it has been a while…

I was maybe a bit too ambitious with this project. I wanted to make an oversized lion as soon as I spotted this design. It is 11.5″ by 15″.

This layered heart is another project done for Valentine’s Day. I’m quite proud of myself for getting two projects ready for a holiday.
